Workshop for the Review of the Sectoral Energy Report
November, 2011 –ARPEL organized jointly with ALADI, CIER, CEPAL, CAF, OLADE, OEA and WEC the Workshop for the Presentation and Validation of the advances on the project “Sectoral Energy Report of Latin America and the Caribbean – Towards a New Regional Energy Agenda”, which took place at ALADI´s headquarters on November 3rd and 4th.
The objective of this first workshop consisted on presenting the advances achieved by the consultants involved according to the study’s terms of reference. It promoted an open discussion with public and private players to validate the advances on the worldwide and regional economic and energy framework, regulatory and institutional framework and supply and demand analysis. Amanda Pereira, Strategic Planning and Management Support Manager of ARPEL participated on behalf of the Association. She presented the project giving the region´s context, objectives, scope and expected results.
The workshop also counted with the participation of delegates from the strategic planning areas of ARPEL associated members.
