Exploration and Production

Created on 2008

Promoting the development of the exploration and production sector addressing governments and society expectations, boosting cooperation among states and companies, as well as increasing industry credibility to develop win-win partnerships and disseminating improvements of industry’s environmental performance in E&P are some of the exploration issues of interest to the regional oil and gas industry. Integrity management, relations with communities, logistics in offshore operations and technical issues including GHG emissions reductions are included in the issues of interest on production. Training associated to the limited availability of experienced professionals and communicational issues such as the need for an outreach of industry expectations and needs and the establishment of tripartite forums to enhance oil and gas resources’ development are cross-cutting issues in which the regional oil and gas industry is thinking of.
