New business scenario in exploration and production, natural gas development, energy transition and digital transformation will be the main topics of the ARPEL 2022 Conference in Peru
"Advancing the transformation of the region´s oil and gas sector. Energy transitions and new risk dynamics" is the theme of the ARPEL 2022 Conference, which will be held from November 14 to 16 in Lima, Peru.
The Association of Oil, Gas and Renewable Energy Companies of Latin America and the Caribbean (ARPEL) will hold the sixth edition of its main event, 100% face-to-face, with a broad agenda and the participation of executives from the main operating companies and suppliers of the sector.
Confirmed speakers include the President of Ancap, Alejandro Stipanicic; General Manager of COGA, Andrés Mendizábal; CEO of OCP Ecuador, Jorge Vugdelija; Vice-President and General Manager of Perú LNG, María Julia Aybar; General Manager of Petroperú, Cristina Fung; CEO of PetroTal, Manuel Zúniga; CEO of Pluspetrol, Claudio de Diego; President of Recope, Juan Manuel Quesada; Managing Director of Staatsolie, Annand Jagesar; CEO of Tecpetrol, Ricardo Markous; CEO of UNNA, Reynaldo Llosa; CEO of YPFB, Armin Dorgathen; VP Refining and Industrial Processes of Ecopetrol, Walter Cánova; Begoña Mundó, Vice-President and Executive Director of Grupo Tema Litoclean; Gabriel Grzona, Refining Line Manager of YPF, and the Refining Director of Raízen, Alejandro Vago.
Meanwhile, the panel dedicated to Digital Transformation will be attended by Sebastián Carmona, Vice-President, Chief Technology Officer of Honeywell; Patricio Whitney, VP Integration & Digital Operations Solutions Western Hemisphere of Schlumberger; Ernesto Gutiérrez, CTO of Ecopetrol, and Juliano Dantas, Director of Digital Transformation and Innovation of Petrobras.
The first day will include the Members Meeting, the Hydrocarbon Agencies Meeting, the Alumni Meeting of the Senior Management Program, several workshops and meetings of the ARPEL Technical Committees, as well as the opening ceremony with authorities from Peru, Petroperu and ARPEL.
Meanwhile, the second day will feature panels on "Opportunities and challenges for investment in exploration and production", "The future of the refining sector in Latin America and the Caribbean", "Climate change, energy transitions and the role of the oil and gas sector" and "Opportunities for the development of natural gas in the region".
The third day of the ARPEL Conference will bring together the CEOs of companies in the region and will hold different sessions that will address the following topics: "Sustainability, Transparency, Compliance and Stakeholder Relationship"; "Talent and Diversity", and "The Impacts of Digital Transformation".
The ARPEL Conference not only provides a comprehensive overview of the oil and gas sector, but also offers the opportunity to interact in one place with industry professionals and government authorities from different countries in the region.
