Expert delegates and executives of the region work in cooperation in the Technical Committees, forming the engine of the Association to carry forward its strategic lines.
Created in 2006.
Land and sea pipelines and terminals are often located in isolated or environmentally sensitive areas, or areas located close to communities. Therefore, impacts associated with the risk of failure in the integrity of their infrastructure may be very important.
The purpose of this Committee is to identify and act on issues and challenges related to the transport and distribution of oil and gas, and associated logistics. The focus is on developing best practices in processes and management systems, and training and certification programs that facilitate the continuous improvement in operational performance. The Committee is also working on performance indicators that facilitate regional benchmarking.
Adrian Merida, Chairman of Pipelines and Terminals Committee - ARPEL
“The main players in the development and management of the pipelines and terminals business in the region come together here, forming a unique group for the exchange and generation of knowledge. We work together with key players, and global and regional leaders in each subject addressed in order to achieve excellence in the results of each project that we undertake."
