The Latin American Conference on Process Safety, plays an important role to prevent major accidents through lifelong learning and continuous improvement in process safety practice.

Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS) looks forward to continuing this tradition at the Buenos Aires conference to be held on September 10-13.

This 8th edition will be co-organized with the Regional Association of Oil, Gas and Biofuels Sector Companies in Latin America and the Caribbean (ARPEL), an institution founded in 1965 as a vehicle of cooperation and reciprocal assistance among sector companies, its main purpose is to actively contribute to industry integration and competitive growth, and to sustainable energy development in the region.

The event will cover the experiences and case studies of the different companies in process industries in general, including, among others: oil and gas, chemistry, mining, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, etc., focusing on the comprehensive development of some elements of process safety management.

The agenda of the "Latin American Conference on Process Safety" will consist of a series of previous workshops, about thirty technical presentations, the participation of keynote speakers as well as an exhibition.
