The Association integrated the agenda of the Extraordinary General Meeting held by IOGP (International Association of Oil & Gas Producers), held on November 18 and 19 in a virtual way and open to all professionals from its member companies.
ARPEL, through Tiphaine Le Moënner, project manager in charge of the Environment, Health and Safety Committee, participated in the two sessions dedicated to the Health Committee, including the management of COVID-19.
Moderated by Hans Berg from Shell, Chairman of the IOGP Health Committee, each session was the opportunity to exchange with the audience from different perspectives with the participation of Tony Cramp from Shell, from the Subcommittee on Aviation Safety; Kirsty Walker from Schlumberger, and Nico de Sadeleer from the North Oil Company (Qatar).
“It was a panel that allowed us to understand the complexity of the crisis as a whole and in which the importance of cooperation and exchange was highlighted, the integration of safe behaviors both in professional life and outside, and the responsibility of companies to provide to its employees information, adequate tools, and peace of mind," said Le Moënner.
