TWO EDITIONS OF THE VIRTUAL COURSE ON HUMAN RIGHTS IN THE HYDROCARBON SECTOR

  • ARPEL organized two editions of the virtual course "Business and Human Rights in the Hydrocarbon Sector."

    The first edition, which took place in the middle of year, was attended by professionals of CENIT, ENAP, ERM, HUNT OIL, PEMEX, PLUSPETROL, REFINOR, REPSOL, SK INNOVATION, SNME, from Colombia, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Argentina and Spain.

    The second edition, held at the end of the year, was attended by staff of REPSOL, PETROPERU, HONEYWELL, from Colombia, Peru, Argentina and Spain.

    Through this course, the Association aims to address the issue of business and human rights while providing basic tools to move from theory to action.

    During the training, common facts and relevant cases related to human rights in the sector in Latin America and elsewhere were discussed. This allows putting knowledge into practice, companies thus becoming an active agent in the respect for human rights from the workplace itself.

    The extension of the Course is 24 hours over one month.
