LATINVE&P 2014 CONCLUDES WITH EXCELLENT RESULTS IN THE PROMOTION OF INVESTMENTS IN E&P

  • rom March 26 - 28, 2014, the Hydrocarbon Agencies in the region and investors from around the world met at the Convention Center of the Westin Lima Hotel, Peru, to discuss investment opportunities in the exploration and production of oil and gas in Latin America and the Caribbean.

    Over 300 participants from different countries within and outside the region attended the event; representatives of government agencies in the hydrocarbon sector investors, E&P operators and providers of critical services for the activities of E&P.

    At the Forum -which featured seven conferences and nine plenary sessions, apart from an interactive survey which gave information on the priorities of the participants-, there were presented bidding rounds and other investment opportunities, contract models, incentives and guarantees given in the different countries of the region, in addition to the analysis of the the challenges and solutions for effective business development in the exploration and production of oil and gas in Latin America and the Caribbean.

    As for the Exhibition, it offered a unique place for the marketing of hydrocarbon prospects, future bidding rounds and other opportunities. Companies such as ANCAP, CGG, Laub & Quijandría, PDVSA, Perupetro, Petroamazonas EP, Petrobras, Petroperu PTC, Repsol, Schlumberger and Spectrum were among those present in the exhibition.

    LATINVE&P is organized every two years by the Regional Association of Oil, Gas and Biofuels Sector Companies in Latin America and the Caribbean (ARPEL). Its edition 2014 featured Perupetro as co-organizer and Petroperu as national sponsor.
