The Guideline for Gas Flaring, Venting, Leaks and Losses at Exploration & Production Facilities has been reviewed. A series of relatively minor rewrites were done to the Guideline text (including the Guideline title) and eight major recommendations made for sections 4.0 “Community Awareness”, 5.0 “Air Quality Standards”, 6.5 “Measurement of Gaseous Emissions”, 7.0 “Flare Systems”, 7.4.1 “Applications of Flaring for Waste Gas Disposal”, 7.8 “Flare Environment”, and 7.12 “Flaring Efficiencies”.
