The purpose of this report is to identify the current level of ethics, transparency, social responsibility and sustainability of the oil and gas industry in Latin American and the Caribbean. Data were collected in the period November 10, 2004 to February 3, 2005, and included a survey covering: survey of websites, use of questionnaires and telephone inquiries to the 22 member companies of ARPEL – Regional Association of Oil and Natural Gas Companies in Latin America and the Caribbean.
