ARPEL was present at Argentina Oil & Gas Expo 2023 and at the 5th Latin American Congress on Environment, Occupational Safety & Health in the Oil & Gas Industry, both events organized from September 11 to 14 in Buenos Aires by the Argentinian Institute of Oil & Gas (IAPG).

In addition to providing institutional support, the Association was part of the Congress’ agenda and Miguel Moyano, ARPEL Senior Managing Director, made a special presentation entitled “ARPEL RETOS™ 2023: International trends for assessing the level of industry and government oil spill response planning and preparedness”. Tiphaine Le Moënner, ARPEL Environment, Industrial Safety and Health Coordinator also participated in the Congress.

Also, within the framework of the AOG, ARPEL Communications Committee held a face-to-face meeting with the participation of María Martha Rabasedas from Tecpetrol, Josefina Ibarra from YPF, Adriana Shimabukuro and Iván Hansen from TGN, together with Carlos Garibaldi, Miguel Moyano and María Eugenia Guzmán on behalf of ARPEL.

The main objective of the meeting was to exchange ideas on the work that the group has been doing since the beginning of the year, as well as to discuss the agenda of ARPEL 2024 Conference to be held in April in Colombia, together with Naturgas.

AOG 2023 edition was an excellent opportunity for interaction with local authorities as well as executives from different ARPEL's member companies.
