Membership in Arpel is open to companies and institutions in the oil, gas and renewable energy sectors with operations in Latin America and the Caribbean. There are three categories of members: Active Members, Cooperative Members and Institutional Members.

Active Members
Operating companies developing activities in the region that are approved by the Board of Directors. They may be members of all the Association bodies and have the right to voice and vote in such bodies.
Membership of a company or business group covers all its branches and wholly-owned subsidiaries operating under the same name within the region.
Cooperating Members
Companies providing technology, goods and services to operating companies, which carry out activities in at least three countries in the region and are approved by the Board of Directors.
They may be members of all the Association bodies with certain limitations, and have the right to voice and vote in operational matters, and the right to voice in strategic matters.
Institutional Members
National, regional or international institutions or organizations whose activities are related to the oil, natural gas or biofuels sector, and aligned with the purpose of the Association.
They may participate in technical committees and have the right to voice at the Assembly.

Arpel Annual Report 2024
The ARPEL 2024 Annual Report is a summary of the main actions carried out by the Association and its members over the past year.
The document contains information about new member companies, the launch of the new Technical Committee dedicated to Digital Transformation, and the new website.
The Report also presents the activities conducted in 2024 under ARPEL’s four Strategic Vectors: Energy Transitions, Operational Excellence, Sustainable Management, and Relationship with Stakeholders.
