Dr. Jennifer L. Miskimins is a Professor and the Department Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department at the Colorado School of Mines, where she holds the F.H. Mick Merelli/Coterra Energy Distinguished Department Head Chair. Dr. Miskimins earned a BS from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology, and MS and PhD degrees from the Colorado School of Mines, all in petroleum engineering. She has over 35 years of experience in the petroleum industry, holding multiple positions in both industry and academic.  

Dr. Miskimins currently serves as the 2026 SPE President. She was the first person to specifically represent the “completions” discipline on the SPE Board of Directors as the inaugural Completions Technical Director. In 2014, she was awarded the SPE International Completions Optimization and Technology Award, in 2022, she received the SPE International Distinguished Achievement Award for Petroleum Engineering Faculty, and she is also an SPE Distinguished Member.

Cecilia San Román Ribolla is a Chemical Engineer from the University of the Uruguay Republic and has training in public policy design, economic regulation of public utilities, and project management in the energy sector. 

Since 2008, she has worked in Uruguay’s energy sector. She served as an Advisor in the Liquid and Gaseous Hydrocarbons Area at the National Directorate of Energy – MIEM (2008–2009), as a Professional Advisor in the Hydrocarbons Oversight Area at URSEA (2009–2011), as Director’s Assistant and Director of the Technical Advisory Office at the National Directorate of Energy (2011–2016), as Advisor to the Board of Directors of ANCAP (2016–2020), and as Technical Advisor for Strategic Affairs at ANCAP (2020–2025). 

In her management roles, she was responsible for leading negotiations with national and foreign public and private institutions and companies, as well as with regional governments, on gas and electricity integration. 

She represented Uruguay in the UNASUR Energy Group, the URUPABOL Energy Commission, the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the IIRSA Energy Infrastructure Group, the OLADE Board of Experts and Ministers’ Meetings, the World Bank and ECLAC Regional Energy Dialogues, among others. 

Martínez Tanoira is an Industrial Engineer. He studied at the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology and earned a Master of Business Administration from Austral University.
He completed specialization courses at Darden, Wharton, and Harvard Universities in the United States.

Prior to his current position, he held several roles. He served as Executive Vice President of Downstream and Executive Vice President of Upstream. He was Executive Manager of the Mendoza Region, overseeing upstream operations in that province. He held the position of Director of Chemicals at YPF and was a member of the Board of Directors of Profertil. During his early years with the Company, he was Director of Basic Petrochemicals and Intermediate Products at Repsol Química in Spain. He was also appointed Head of the Marketing Area and Manager of Planning and Development within the Industrial Products and Chemicals Unit.

A leading authority in the African Energy sector and a strong advocate for African entrepreneurship and development, NJ Ayuk is recognised as the foremost figure in African business. He is the Executive Chairman of the African Energy Chamber, an organisation at the forefront of the African Energy industry and championing industry development, investments and local economic empowerment through the elimination of continent-wide energy poverty. As a renowned dealmaker, NJ is also the founder of the pan-African full suite law conglomerate – CLG (formerly Centurion Law Group). 

NJ graduated from the University of Maryland College Park and earned a Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law and an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology. NJ cut his teeth practising across multiplejurisdictions and advising major companies and governments on energy related issues, investment strategies and epoch- making deals for over 2 decades. 

Beyond his impeccable advisory and deal closing roles, NJ is also a prolific speaker and bestselling author. He is the author of “Big Barrels”, Amazon and Wall Street Journal’s bestseller “Billions at Play: The Future of African Energy and Doing Deals” and Amazon bestseller - A Just Transition: Making Energy Poverty History with an Energy Mix. His 
consistency and impartial challenge against unjust global energy trends which could negatively impact Africa and her people have seen him addressing world leaders and executives at prestigious events around the world. 
Drawing from experience working with the United Nations, he advises governments on judicial modernization, rule of law issues, and the training of African judges, prosecutors and lawyers on a pro bono basis. Mr. Ayuk regularly participates in industry-specific conferences and seminars as a speaker and moderator. Since 2018, he is also the executive chairman of the African Energy Chamber where he leads continent-wide efforts to build domestic 
capacity and advocate for a stronger and more united African energy industry. 
He continues to play a significant role in developing policies and strategies to create and maintain a thriving investment environment on the continent while advancing regulations, attracting investments and enhancing local content participation across the energy sector value chain.

Andrés is a Chemical Engineer, graduated from the National Technological University. 

He began his career at Shell Argentina in late 1992. Over more than 30 years with the company, he held a variety of technical and commercial roles in the Retail (Service Stations), B2B, and Lubricants businesses, both in Argentina and in other Southern Cone countries. 

In late 2015, Andrés relocated to Mexico to lead Shell’s downstream market entry following a historic Energy Reform. This move marked the return of the Shell brand to the country after more than 80 years. 

In 2018, Andrés returned to Argentina to join the founding executive leadership team of Raízen in the country. 

In May 2023, Andrés was appointed CEO of Raízen Argentina. 

Senior Vice President and Country Manager of Hunt Oil Company, company engaged in oil and gas exploration and production, as well as the processing and export of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

Previously served as General Manager of PERU LNG S.R.L., processing company owned by Hunt, Shell, Marubeni, and Mid Ocean Energy, which operates Peru’s first LNG plant.

Studied Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.

Began her professional career at Perupetro, state-owned company in Peru responsible for negotiating and managing hydrocarbon exploration and production contracts.

Continued her career in the private sector at Estudio Muñiz, working with various oil and gas companies such as Occidental, El Paso Energy, Hunt Oil, Chevron, Repsol, Pluspetrol, among others, across different phases of the hydrocarbon industry.

Participated in the development of the Camisea field, Peru’s most important hydrocarbon project, including its exploitation, transportation, and distribution phases. She also contributed to drafting regulations for Peru’s Organic Hydrocarbons Law, covering new rules related to the development of the gas industry in Peru.

With over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, she joined PERU LNG in 2006 to manage legal matters related to the export project.

In 2017, after more than 10 years as Legal Manager at PERU LNG, she became General Manager of PERU LNG, and since 2024, she has served as Senior Vice President and Country Manager of Hunt Oil Company.

Her extensive knowledge of upstream activities (oil contract negotiations, exploration, and production) and downstream activities (sales, transportation, distribution, refining, and processing of hydrocarbons) has allowed her to teach courses for both public and private sectors, including the Peruvian Tax Administration, OSINERGMIN (Peru’s regulatory body for hydrocarbon activities), National University of San Marcos, University of Applied Sciences, UTEC, among others.

In 2023, she was appointed President of the Hydrocarbons Committee at the National Society of Mining, Oil and Energy, after serving as Vice President from 2021 to 2022.

In 2023, she received the “Women in LNG in Latin America” award at the international LNG Global conference (held in Cartagena, Colombia).

In 2024, she was named one of Peru’s 50 most powerful women by Forbes.

She participated as a speaker in the panel “Structural Reform to Advance Just Energy Transitions for Women and Other Groups with Untapped Economic Potential”, held during the Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum.

In 2025, she was re-elected President of the Hydrocarbons Committee at the National Society of Mining, Oil and Energy.

Since 2025, she has contributed as a columnist for El Comercio newspaper.

Since April 2025, she has been a Board Member of Siderperu, company of the Gerdau Group.

Tomás Delgado - CEO of Transportadora de Gas del Perú since 2019. He has more than 25 years of experience in various economic sectors, including the industrial, energy, and financial sectors.

Tomás holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from USB and an MBA from IESA. He has also completed the Senior Management Program (PAD) at the University of Piura/IESE and has served as a professor in the Master’s in Finance program at Universidad del Pacífico.

Marta Inés D´Angiola lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has worked for the past ten years as a Advisor Geologist in the Interpretation and Evaluation Services Team at Weatherford. She served as President of the Argentine Chapter of SPWLA from 2020 to 2023 and was recently elected Regional Director for Latin America for the 2024–2026 term. 

She coordinated the Magmatism and Petroleum Systems Symposium at the 11th Exploration and Development of Hydrocarbons Congress (Mendoza, 2022). She currently leads the Geoscience Training Program at the Argentine Institute of Oil and Gas (IAPG) and co-coordinates the Posters and Transects section for the upcoming Exploration and Development of Hydrocarbons Congress (CONEXPLO). 

Marta is a Full Professor of Subsurface Geology in the Geology degree program at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Universidad Nacional de La Plata, and currently serves as Director of the Specialization in Geosciences for Hydrocarbon Exploration and Development, a postgraduate programo f the same institution. 

Deeply committed to supporting young professionals, she actively collaborates with student chapters by offering workshops, training activities, and guidance aimed at fostering academic and professional growth. 

Martín has more than 25 years’ experience in the oil industry, working in field development and operations. Before joining GeoPark in 2018, he worked for Petrolera Argentina San Jorge y Chevron San Jorge in international operations, including in Argentina, the United States and Venezuela. At Chevron, Martín led heavy oil operations at fields in Venezuela, and was previously responsible for water injection, CO2 flooding and unconventional operations.  
Martín has a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA) and an MBA from the IAE Business School at Universidad Austral in Buenos Aires. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and is currently serving as the Chair of ARPEL’s Board of Directors. 

Daniel is a Partner at Arthur D. Little, heading our Buenos Aires office, and a member of our Global Energy Practice. 

He has provided assistance to both national and international energy, oil, and gas companies on corporate strategy, organization, and economic analysis in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Africa. 

Since joining Arthur D. Little, he has led studies to support National and International companies in taking organizational and investment decisions, as well as providing strategic assistance in refining, exploration, production, and transport, including international expansion. 

Daniel has extensive experience in refining & marketing, refinery valuation & conceptual design, technology selection and conversion upgrade feasibility, as well as the biofuels, LPG trading, and distribution businesses. 

Expert in the design, implementation, and evaluation of sustainable development strategies linked to the private and public sectors, as well as international cooperation in Latin America and the Caribbean. Over the past 15 years, she has led projects in 16 countries on the following topics: ESG risks; sustainable finance; strategies for the prevention of socio-environmental conflicts; and local development plans, including approaches focused on social inclusion and productive diversification. In the field of sustainable finance, she has contributed to the growth of the Latin American market, leading more than 60 projects across the region in this segment, many of which were pioneers in their respective countries in green and sustainable debt instruments. 

In the academic field, Sandra holds a Master’s degree in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and was a Chevening Awards scholar. She has published on corporate sustainability and has been a speaker at international conferences such as the World Resources Forum in 2017, 2021, and 2023 (Geneva), as well as at several investor and capital markets forums across Latin America. 

President of Promigas since 2021, one of the oldest private companies in the natural gas sector in Latin America and a pioneer in the mass adoption of this fuel in Colombia.

In this role, Rojas leads the growth and consolidation of Promigas as an organization with more than 50 years of recognized track record, bringing together 21 companies engaged in natural gas transportation and distribution, LNG regasification, electricity distribution, energy solutions, and integrated services for industry, with operations in Colombia, Peru, and Chile.

Prior to joining Promigas, Juan Manuel Rojas served as Corporate Vice President of Strategy and New Businesses at Ecopetrol, where he was responsible for defining the strategic vision for business development across the oil and gas, electricity, and other energy businesses. Between 2011 and 2016, he was New Business Manager at Pan American Energy and Chief Executive Officer of Bridas Corporation, both leading hydrocarbon production companies in the Southern Cone.

Throughout his career, he has stood out in senior leadership roles, as a consultant, and as a lecturer and speaker at renowned universities. He served as a World Bank consultant on energy projects in Africa, Bolivia, Honduras, and Brazil, and also held the position of Vice Minister of Energy in Colombia between 2000 and 2001.

Rojas is an economist and holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Universidad de los Andes, as well as a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard University. He has 30 years of professional experience at the national and international levels in the energy sector, in both public and private companies, across Colombia and South America.

Antes de incorporarse al Directorio Ejecutivo del IBP en mayo de 2021, Sylvie acumuló 30 años de experiencia en los sectores de petróleo, gas y energía en general, habiéndose desempeñado como especialista y ejecutiva en firmas de consultoría nacionales e internacionales, así como en organismos internacionales como la OCDE y la AIE.​

Previo a su llegada al IBP, fundó y dirigió durante ocho años PRYSMA E&T Consultores. También se desempeñó como Directora Adjunta de Gas para el Cono Sur en IHS-CERA y como Socia Directora en Gas Energy en Brasil. Antes de radicarse en Brasil en 2003, Sylvie lideró el Programa para América Latina de la Agencia Internacional de la Energía (AIE) en París y trabajó como Economista Senior en WEFA Energy en Londres.

Fernanda graduated as a geologist from the University of Buenos Aires and joined YPF in 1998. She has worked on a wide range of exploratory projects, both in onshore and offshore Argentina, as well as in international new ventures.

Before her current position, she served as Vice President of Upstream Conventional for YPF. She has completed management programs at IAE Business School, and at Di Tella and San Andrés Universities.

Currently, she leads the teams responsible for exploring the Argentine and Uruguayan Offshore, and unconventional resources in the Vaca Muerta and Palermo Aike shale plays.

Florencia Carreras is the Regional Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at the International Methane Emissions Observatory (IMEO) of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). In this role, she works closely with the scientific team, local governments, and experts to support methane emissions reduction commitments across the region. She has extensive experience as a legal advisor in the public sector, having primarily served as an environmental legal advisor to the Office of the Chair of the Environment and Sustainable Development Committee of the Argentine National Senate.

She is a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), with specialization in Environmental and Energy Law. She holds postgraduate diplomas in “Environment, Energy, Mining and Hydrocarbons” from Universidad Austral and in “Development and Financing of Renewable Energy Projects” from Universidad del CEMA. She also holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Law, Policy and Management from Universidad Austral. She is currently a member of the teaching faculty of the Diploma in Emissions Reduction Management at the Faculty of Engineering of Universidad Austral.

Roberto Brandt is an international energy, mining and corporate strategy consultant, Senior Advisor of MAP Latam and LLYC, and a Non Resident Fellow of the Center for Energy Studies (CES) at Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy (Houston, USA). He performed as CEO of MetroGAS (Argentina) and Gasoducto Cruz del Sur (Uruguay), senior executive of BG Group (UK) and Head of the Pricing Division of YPF, and represented Argentina in the Group of the 20 (G20) and in several international energy organizations.

Mauricio Martin is an alternate Director of YPF S.A. since December 2023 and Executive Vice President of Midstream and Downstream since December 2023.

He served as Digital Technologies and Transversal Solutions Vice President from February 2023 to December 2023 and as Services Vice President from August 2022 to February 2023. He served as Downstream Vice President from May 2020 through August 2022.

He joined the company in 1997 and has developed his career in different Downstream areas and positions, such as Process Engineer, Responsible for Production, Responsible for Environment, Safety and Health, Industrial Complex Manager, Planning and Technical Development Manager.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo. He also completed specialization programs and holds an MBA from the CEMA University.

Chemical Engineer, graduated from the National University of the South, Bahía Blanca.

I began my career at Repsol-YPF in 1999 as a Process Control Engineer at the La Plata Refinery.

In 2008, I joined the Bahía Blanca Refinery, then operated by Petrobras Argentina, holding various technical support and operational positions.

In 2013, I assumed the role of Manager of Process Engineering and Advanced Control, and in 2018, I moved into the position of Operations Manager.

Since January 2024, I have been in charge of the General Management of the Refinery, leading a major expansion project and the transformation of the business model.

Dr. Faye Gerard joined IOGP in November 2023 as Energy Transition and Americas Director, seconded from bp, and is based at IOGP’s Houston office. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tuskegee University.

She has worked in the oil and gas industry for 34 years, and at bp for the last 18 years. Her previous roles at bp include Senior Federal Government Affairs Director, Vice President of Low Carbon and Sustainability at bpX Energy (an onshore oil and gas production subsidiary of bp), and other leadership roles in environmental engineering, projects, HSE, regulatory, and safety and operational risk management.

He is a Civil Mechanical Engineer from the University of Concepción. He holds an MBA from Universidad del Desarrollo and a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

He joined ENAP in 2008 as a Maintenance Engineer at the Bío Bío Refinery. In 2013, he was appointed Head of the Maintenance Department and, in 2017, Head of the Operations Department. In 2018, he assumed the role of Refinery Manager, leading a facility that plays a key role in the daily commitment to supply fuels to the country’s central-southern region.

In 2023, he was appointed Transversal Planning Manager for the R&C Business Line, a role in which he played a fundamental part in the implementation of the Operational Transversal Agreements and Coordination Process (PACTO). Since October 2025, he has served as ENAP’s Corporate Refining Manager.
