Surveying Engineer, graduated from the National University of Catamarca in 1986, where he received the “Diploma al Mérito” award for the highest GPA in the university.

He has been a university professor since 1986 and currently continues as a tenured full professor.

Between 1992 and 1996, he served as Director of Information Technology for the Province of Catamarca.

He was Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Applied Sciences at the National University of Catamarca from 1999 to 2007.

He was a member and president of the Federal Council of Engineering Deans (CONFEDI) and served as Vice President of the Ibero-American Association for Engineering Education (ASIBEI).

He served as Rector of the same university from October 2007 until 2021, when he was elected National Senator for the Province of Catamarca.

As Rector, he was a member and president of the National Interuniversity Council (CIN), which brings together all rectors of Argentina’s public universities.

During his tenure as Rector, he also participated in and presided over numerous Argentine, Latin American, and European academic networks.

Since December 10, 2021, he has served as National Senator for the Province of Catamarca and is the Chair of the Mining, Energy and Fuels Committee in the Honorable Senate of the Nation.

Cecilia San Román Ribolla is a Chemical Engineer from the University of the Uruguay Republic and has training in public policy design, economic regulation of public utilities, and project management in the energy sector. 

Since 2008, she has worked in Uruguay’s energy sector. She served as an Advisor in the Liquid and Gaseous Hydrocarbons Area at the National Directorate of Energy – MIEM (2008–2009), as a Professional Advisor in the Hydrocarbons Oversight Area at URSEA (2009–2011), as Director’s Assistant and Director of the Technical Advisory Office at the National Directorate of Energy (2011–2016), as Advisor to the Board of Directors of ANCAP (2016–2020), and as Technical Advisor for Strategic Affairs at ANCAP (2020–2025). 

In her management roles, she was responsible for leading negotiations with national and foreign public and private institutions and companies, as well as with regional governments, on gas and electricity integration. 

She represented Uruguay in the UNASUR Energy Group, the URUPABOL Energy Commission, the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the IIRSA Energy Infrastructure Group, the OLADE Board of Experts and Ministers’ Meetings, the World Bank and ECLAC Regional Energy Dialogues, among others. 

Jeremy M. Martin is Vice President, Energy & Sustainability at the Institute of the Americas, an inter-American public policy think-tank located at the University of California San Diego (UCSD). The Institute of the Americas Energy & Sustainability Program works to foster a deeper understanding of the most critical energy issues facing the Western Hemisphere. Jeremy spends his time delving into the geopolitics of energy and closely following energy industry trends and policy issues across the Americas, and is a frequent commentator and writer on Latin American and energy issues.

Jeremy has testified before the US Congress on energy issues in Latin America, teaches a graduate course in Latin American Energy Policy at UCSD and the University of San Diego (USD) and serves on the Board of Advisors for the Inter-American Dialogue’s Energy Advisor newsletter. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Diplomacy Council and is a member of the host committee for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation San Diego Chapter annual Bet on Cures event. Thanks to his upbringing, he is a diehard Red Sox fan, Civil War buff, and news junkie. Jeremy graduated with honors in History from The Citadel in Charleston, SC and a Masters in International Affairs/International Development from the American University in Washington, DC. He has yet to achieve his lifelong dream of being a Stand-Up Comic. 

Pedro Miras is the current President of WPC Energy for the term that will conclude with the 25th WPC Energy Congress in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2026.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the energy sector, having worked in both public and private entities, specifically at Repsol (institutional and international affairs, refineries, and strategic planning), the National Energy Commission (oil and biofuels regulation), the International Energy Agency SEQ/SOM (security of supply), and CORES (oil and gas supply security).

In addition to his involvement in the WPC Energy network, he has served as President of the Spanish Corporation of Strategic Petroleum Reserves (CORES), President of the International Energy Agency’s Standing Group on Emergency Questions (SEQ) and Standing Group on the Oil Market (SOM), Director of Institutional Affairs and Organizations and of the Chairman’s Office at Repsol, and member of the Steering Committee and Board of Directors of Enerclub (Spanish Energy Club), among other relevant positions.

Martínez Tanoira is an Industrial Engineer. He studied at the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology and earned a Master of Business Administration from Austral University.
He completed specialization courses at Darden, Wharton, and Harvard Universities in the United States.

Prior to his current position, he held several roles. He served as Executive Vice President of Downstream and Executive Vice President of Upstream. He was Executive Manager of the Mendoza Region, overseeing upstream operations in that province. He held the position of Director of Chemicals at YPF and was a member of the Board of Directors of Profertil. During his early years with the Company, he was Director of Basic Petrochemicals and Intermediate Products at Repsol Química in Spain. He was also appointed Head of the Marketing Area and Manager of Planning and Development within the Industrial Products and Chemicals Unit.

Currently CEO of the Brazilian Petroleum & Gas Institute (IBP), main industry association in Brazil, Roberto Ardenghy is former Brazilian diplomat with 30+ years of experience in government affairs, infrastructure, energy, sustainability and oil & gas, both in private and public sectors.

He held several senior positions in the Brazilian oil, gas & biofuels regulator (ANP) and worked with BG Group in Brazil as Government Affairs Director. In 2019 he joined PETROBRAS as Chief Executive Board Member in charge of Institutional & Sustainability areas, with responsibilities to oversee climate change, communications, social performance and government affairs.

As a diplomat, he worked at different Brazilian Embassies and Consulates abroad (Washington DC, Buenos Aires, Houston and New York). He also held many senior positions in Brazil federal government in Brasilia.

Ricardo Ferreiro is President of Exploration and Production at Tecpetrol, a company dedicated to explore, produce and transport energy in Latin America, where he has developed a 30-year career. Tecpetrol is part of the Techint Group.

He has previously served as Tecpetrol’s President of Gas & Power, Business Development and Commercial; as General Manager of Tecpetrol in Venezuela; as General Manager of Transportadora de Gas del Perú; and as Tecpetrol’s Northern Region Director.

In Perú, he also acted as director of the association dedicated to the promotion of national infrastructure, director of the National Confederation of Private Business Institutions, director and vice-president of the Peruvian Mining, Oil & Energy National Society.

He is a Mechanical Engineer from the University of La Plata, in Argentina. 

A leading authority in the African Energy sector and a strong advocate for African entrepreneurship and development, NJ Ayuk is recognised as the foremost figure in African business. He is the Executive Chairman of the African Energy Chamber, an organisation at the forefront of the African Energy industry and championing industry development, investments and local economic empowerment through the elimination of continent-wide energy poverty. Mr. Ayuk regularly participates in industry-specific conferences and seminars as a speaker and moderator. Since 2018, he is also the executive chairman of the African Energy Chamber where he leads continent-wide efforts to build domestic 
capacity and advocate for a stronger and more united African energy industry. 
He continues to play a significant role in developing policies and strategies to create and maintain a thriving investment environment on the continent while advancing regulations, attracting investments and enhancing local content participation across the energy sector value chain.

Kenneth B. Medlock III, Ph.D., is the James A. Baker, III, and Susan G. Baker Fellow in Energy and Resource Economics at the Baker Institute and the senior director of the Center for Energy Studies. He is also the director of the Masters of Energy Economics program, and he holds adjunct professor appointments in the Department of Economics and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rice University. Medlock is also a Distinguished Fellow at the Institute of Energy Economics, Japan; he is a member of the Advisory Board of the Payne Institute at the Colorado School of Mines; and he is a member of the Advisory Committee of the KAPSARC School of Public Policy. In 2012–13, Medlock held the prestigious Haydn Williams Fellowship at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. 

Medlock teaches advanced courses in energy economics and supervises Ph.D. students in the energy economics field. He has published numerous scholarly articles in his primary areas of interest, which include natural gas markets, electricity markets, energy commodity price relationships, transportation, national oil company behavior, economic development and energy demand, energy use and the environment, and various energy transitions topics ranging from engineered and nature-based carbon capture to hydrogen to the economic drivers of technology adoption. He has testified multiple times on Capitol Hill on U.S. energy exports and electricity market evolution, has spoken at OPEC, and is frequently asked to speak about global and domestic energy issues.

Medlock is the past vice president for conferences for the United States Association for Energy Economics (USAEE), and he previously served as vice president for academic affairs. In 2001, he won (jointly with Ron Soligo) the International Association for Energy Economics Award for Best Paper of the Year in the Energy Journal. In 2011, he was given the USAEE’s Senior Fellow Award, and in 2013 he accepted the USAEE’s Adelman-Frankel Award for the Center for Energy Studies. In 2019, Medlock was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for the Advancement of the Education of Future Energy Leaders by the Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah Foundation. In 2025, he received the OPEC Award for Research in recognition of “a career dedicated to the objective study and balanced analysis of the energy sector.” He is also an active member of the American Economic Association and is an academic member of the National Petroleum Council. Medlock has also served as an advisor to the U.S. Department of Energy and the California Energy Commission in their respective energy modeling efforts.

Medlock received his Ph.D. in economics from Rice University in May 2000.

Andrés is a Chemical Engineer, graduated from the National Technological University. 

He began his career at Shell Argentina in late 1992. Over more than 30 years with the company, he held a variety of technical and commercial roles in the Retail (Service Stations), B2B, and Lubricants businesses, both in Argentina and in other Southern Cone countries. 

In late 2015, Andrés relocated to Mexico to lead Shell’s downstream market entry following a historic Energy Reform. This move marked the return of the Shell brand to the country after more than 80 years. 

In 2018, Andrés returned to Argentina to join the founding executive leadership team of Raízen in the country. 

In May 2023, Andrés was appointed CEO of Raízen Argentina. 

Senior Vice President and Country Manager of Hunt Oil Company, company engaged in oil and gas exploration and production, as well as the processing and export of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

Previously served as General Manager of PERU LNG S.R.L., processing company owned by Hunt, Shell, Marubeni, and Mid Ocean Energy, which operates Peru’s first LNG plant.

Studied Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.

Began her professional career at Perupetro, state-owned company in Peru responsible for negotiating and managing hydrocarbon exploration and production contracts.

Continued her career in the private sector at Estudio Muñiz, working with various oil and gas companies such as Occidental, El Paso Energy, Hunt Oil, Chevron, Repsol, Pluspetrol, among others, across different phases of the hydrocarbon industry.

Participated in the development of the Camisea field, Peru’s most important hydrocarbon project, including its exploitation, transportation, and distribution phases. She also contributed to drafting regulations for Peru’s Organic Hydrocarbons Law, covering new rules related to the development of the gas industry in Peru.

With over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, she joined PERU LNG in 2006 to manage legal matters related to the export project.

In 2017, after more than 10 years as Legal Manager at PERU LNG, she became General Manager of PERU LNG, and since 2024, she has served as Senior Vice President and Country Manager of Hunt Oil Company.

Her extensive knowledge of upstream activities (oil contract negotiations, exploration, and production) and downstream activities (sales, transportation, distribution, refining, and processing of hydrocarbons) has allowed her to teach courses for both public and private sectors, including the Peruvian Tax Administration, OSINERGMIN (Peru’s regulatory body for hydrocarbon activities), National University of San Marcos, University of Applied Sciences, UTEC, among others.

In 2023, she was appointed President of the Hydrocarbons Committee at the National Society of Mining, Oil and Energy, after serving as Vice President from 2021 to 2022.

In 2023, she received the “Women in LNG in Latin America” award at the international LNG Global conference (held in Cartagena, Colombia).

In 2024, she was named one of Peru’s 50 most powerful women by Forbes.

She participated as a speaker in the panel “Structural Reform to Advance Just Energy Transitions for Women and Other Groups with Untapped Economic Potential”, held during the Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum.

In 2025, she was re-elected President of the Hydrocarbons Committee at the National Society of Mining, Oil and Energy.

Since 2025, she has contributed as a columnist for El Comercio newspaper.

Since April 2025, she has been a Board Member of Siderperu, company of the Gerdau Group.

Tomás Delgado - CEO of Transportadora de Gas del Perú since 2019. He has more than 25 years of experience in various economic sectors, including the industrial, energy, and financial sectors.

Tomás holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from USB and an MBA from IESA. He has also completed the Senior Management Program (PAD) at the University of Piura/IESE and has served as a professor in the Master’s in Finance program at Universidad del Pacífico.

Marta Inés D´Angiola lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has worked for the past ten years as a Advisor Geologist in the Interpretation and Evaluation Services Team at Weatherford. She served as President of the Argentine Chapter of SPWLA from 2020 to 2023 and was recently elected Regional Director for Latin America for the 2024–2026 term. 

She coordinated the Magmatism and Petroleum Systems Symposium at the 11th Exploration and Development of Hydrocarbons Congress (Mendoza, 2022). She currently leads the Geoscience Training Program at the Argentine Institute of Oil and Gas (IAPG) and co-coordinates the Posters and Transects section for the upcoming Exploration and Development of Hydrocarbons Congress (CONEXPLO). 

Marta is a Full Professor of Subsurface Geology in the Geology degree program at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Universidad Nacional de La Plata, and currently serves as Director of the Specialization in Geosciences for Hydrocarbon Exploration and Development, a postgraduate programo f the same institution. 

Deeply committed to supporting young professionals, she actively collaborates with student chapters by offering workshops, training activities, and guidance aimed at fostering academic and professional growth. 

Martín has more than 25 years’ experience in the oil industry, working in field development and operations. Before joining GeoPark in 2018, he worked for Petrolera Argentina San Jorge y Chevron San Jorge in international operations, including in Argentina, the United States and Venezuela. At Chevron, Martín led heavy oil operations at fields in Venezuela, and was previously responsible for water injection, CO2 flooding and unconventional operations.  
Martín has a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA) and an MBA from the IAE Business School at Universidad Austral in Buenos Aires. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and is currently serving as the Chair of ARPEL’s Board of Directors. 

Burcu worked for Turkish Petroleum (TPAO) for 28 years, latterly setting up and assuming the role of Managing Director of the Carbon Management Department, overseeing corporate roadmaps and energy transition initiatives covering energy efficiency, GHG emissions management, carbon markets and renewables. Previous roles which Burcu has held within Turkish Petroleum include Deputy Managing Director of the Strategy Department, Head of the Corporate Communications Division, Manager of the Sectoral Analysis at Strategy Department, and Expert at the R&D Center. Prior to joining TPAO, she has been involved in academia as a research assistant for 2 years.

Burcu has been involved with WPC Energy for over 17 years as the executive secretary of the Turkish National Committee and was the founder of the WPC Energy Mentoring Programme. She has been a member of the WPC Energy Executive Committee (Board) since 2012 and her roles have included Special Advisor, Current Host & Past Host Country Representative, and most recently Vice President, Finance.

Professional with more than thirty years of experience in the refining industry. He is Mechanical Engineer (ITBA – Argentina) and has a Master in Economics and Business Administration (ESEADE – Argentina).

He began his career at the Buenos Aires Refinery of Shell CAPSA (currently Raízen Argentina S.A.U.) working in different areas including Plant Shutdown Management and the Planning and Economics Department of the refinery. He is the Purchasing and Contracting Manager and the Regional Internal Audit Manager (Southern Cone cluster). In 2001 he joined Shell Global Solutions International (Netherlands) as a refining management consultant, providing support to external and Shell group refineries in various countries.

In 2006 he returned to Argentina, as Engineering Manager of the refinery and later took charge of Production Management and then General Management.

Since October 2018, he has served as Director of the Buenos Aires Refinery with a prominent role in the execution of decarbonization projects at the refinery.

Sophie Depraz joined Ipieca in 1992. As Deputy CEO, she is responsible for strategy development and implementation across Ipieca’s four strategic pillars of climate, nature, people and sustainability. In that role, she provides strategic direction to drive future development of the organisation as well as collaboration across Ipieca’s programme areas. Sophie leads Ipieca’s communications strategy and stakeholder engagement throughout the work programme.

Prior to assuming this role, Sophie managed the Oil Spill, Social Responsibility, Reporting and biodiversity programme areas. She played a key role in Ipieca’s engagement in the Paris Agreement and the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. She was involved convening members to understand the opportunities for the industry from the first Rio Earth Summit in 1992.

Sophie holds a master’s degree in Environmental Communications from University Paris VII and graduated from ESSEC International Business School. She also has a French Baccalaureate in Economics and Social Sciences.

Daniel is a Partner at Arthur D. Little, heading our Buenos Aires office, and a member of our Global Energy Practice. 

He has provided assistance to both national and international energy, oil, and gas companies on corporate strategy, organization, and economic analysis in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Africa. 

Since joining Arthur D. Little, he has led studies to support National and International companies in taking organizational and investment decisions, as well as providing strategic assistance in refining, exploration, production, and transport, including international expansion. 

Daniel has extensive experience in refining & marketing, refinery valuation & conceptual design, technology selection and conversion upgrade feasibility, as well as the biofuels, LPG trading, and distribution businesses. 

Expert in the design, implementation, and evaluation of sustainable development strategies linked to the private and public sectors, as well as international cooperation in Latin America and the Caribbean. Over the past 15 years, she has led projects in 16 countries on the following topics: ESG risks; sustainable finance; strategies for the prevention of socio-environmental conflicts; and local development plans, including approaches focused on social inclusion and productive diversification. In the field of sustainable finance, she has contributed to the growth of the Latin American market, leading more than 60 projects across the region in this segment, many of which were pioneers in their respective countries in green and sustainable debt instruments. 

In the academic field, Sandra holds a Master’s degree in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and was a Chevening Awards scholar. She has published on corporate sustainability and has been a speaker at international conferences such as the World Resources Forum in 2017, 2021, and 2023 (Geneva), as well as at several investor and capital markets forums across Latin America. 

President of Promigas since 2021, one of the oldest private companies in the natural gas sector in Latin America and a pioneer in the mass adoption of this fuel in Colombia.

In this role, Rojas leads the growth and consolidation of Promigas as an organization with more than 50 years of recognized track record, bringing together 21 companies engaged in natural gas transportation and distribution, LNG regasification, electricity distribution, energy solutions, and integrated services for industry, with operations in Colombia, Peru, and Chile.

Prior to joining Promigas, Juan Manuel Rojas served as Corporate Vice President of Strategy and New Businesses at Ecopetrol, where he was responsible for defining the strategic vision for business development across the oil and gas, electricity, and other energy businesses. Between 2011 and 2016, he was New Business Manager at Pan American Energy and Chief Executive Officer of Bridas Corporation, both leading hydrocarbon production companies in the Southern Cone.

Throughout his career, he has stood out in senior leadership roles, as a consultant, and as a lecturer and speaker at renowned universities. He served as a World Bank consultant on energy projects in Africa, Bolivia, Honduras, and Brazil, and also held the position of Vice Minister of Energy in Colombia between 2000 and 2001.

Rojas is an economist and holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Universidad de los Andes, as well as a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard University. He has 30 years of professional experience at the national and international levels in the energy sector, in both public and private companies, across Colombia and South America.

Engineering, Logistics and Development Manager at Grupo CAPSA-Capex, with extensive experience in the energy industry. He has held several positions at leading companies such as YPF, Bridas, and CAPSA-Capex.

Leadership of multidisciplinary teams in highly complex projects, covering all stages from conceptualization and design to planning and implementation. Experience in both mature and unconventional fields, with a strong focus on innovation initiatives aimed at optimizing costs and investments. Participation in investment project and acquisition evaluations across several Latin American countries, contributing strategic insight and strong analytical capabilities to decision-making.

Academic and professional background as a university professor at ITBA, President of the IAPG Production and Reserves Development Commission for seven years, and President of SPE Argentina for two terms. Speaker at national and international conferences, with multiple technical publications contributing to the development of the energy industry.

Previo a su llegada al IBP, fundó y dirigió durante ocho años PRYSMA E&T Consultores. También se desempeñó como Directora Adjunta de Gas para el Cono Sur en IHS-CERA y como Socia Directora en Gas Energy en Brasil. Antes de radicarse en Brasil en 2003, Sylvie lideró el Programa para América Latina de la Agencia Internacional de la Energía (AIE) en París y trabajó como Economista Senior en WEFA Energy en Londres.

Fernanda graduated as a geologist from the University of Buenos Aires and joined YPF in 1998. She has worked on a wide range of exploratory projects, both in onshore and offshore Argentina, as well as in international new ventures.

Before her current position, she served as Vice President of Upstream Conventional for YPF. She has completed management programs at IAE Business School, and at Di Tella and San Andrés Universities.

Currently, she leads the teams responsible for exploring the Argentine and Uruguayan Offshore, and unconventional resources in the Vaca Muerta and Palermo Aike shale plays.

Florencia Carreras is the Regional Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at the International Methane Emissions Observatory (IMEO) of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). In this role, she works closely with the scientific team, local governments, and experts to support methane emissions reduction commitments across the region. She has extensive experience as a legal advisor in the public sector, having primarily served as an environmental legal advisor to the Office of the Chair of the Environment and Sustainable Development Committee of the Argentine National Senate.

She is a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), with specialization in Environmental and Energy Law. She holds postgraduate diplomas in “Environment, Energy, Mining and Hydrocarbons” from Universidad Austral and in “Development and Financing of Renewable Energy Projects” from Universidad del CEMA. She also holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Law, Policy and Management from Universidad Austral. She is currently a member of the teaching faculty of the Diploma in Emissions Reduction Management at the Faculty of Engineering of Universidad Austral.

Ricardo Hösel has served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Oleoductos del Valle (Oldelval) since January 2022. He is a Certified Public Accountant, graduated from the University of Belgrano, and has held leadership positions in international oil & gas companies, including APCO Oil & Gas International Inc. -where he served as Country Manager in Colombia - and Verano Energy Ltd., where he worked as New Business Manager.

As head of Oldelval, he is driving major crude oil transportation system expansion projects -such as Duplicar Plus and Duplicar Norte- aimed at supporting the growth of Vaca Muerta, improving operational capacity, and strengthening the company’s strategic role in the country’s energy development. His management stands out for its long-term vision, focus on critical infrastructure, and strong commitment to people safety and environmental protection.

Roberto Brandt is an international energy, mining and corporate strategy consultant, Senior Advisor of MAP Latam and LLYC, and a Non Resident Fellow of the Center for Energy Studies (CES) at Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy (Houston, USA). Mauricio Martin is an alternate Director of YPF S.A. since December 2023 and Executive Vice President of Midstream and Downstream since December 2023.

He served as Digital Technologies and Transversal Solutions Vice President from February 2023 to December 2023 and as Services Vice President from August 2022 to February 2023. He served as Downstream Vice President from May 2020 through August 2022.

He joined the company in 1997 and has developed his career in different Downstream areas and positions, such as Process Engineer, Responsible for Production, Responsible for Environment, Safety and Health, Industrial Complex Manager, Planning and Technical Development Manager.

She is YPF’s Chief Compliance Officer since 2021. Between 2006 and 2020 she held different positions related to government control & public policies, corporate governance, ethics & transparency and integrity.

Chemical Engineer, graduated from the National University of the South, Bahía Blanca.

I began my career at Repsol-YPF in 1999 as a Process Control Engineer at the La Plata Refinery.

In 2008, I joined the Bahía Blanca Refinery, then operated by Petrobras Argentina, holding various technical support and operational positions.

In 2013, I assumed the role of Manager of Process Engineering and Advanced Control, and in 2018, I moved into the position of Operations Manager.

Since January 2024, I have been in charge of the General Management of the Refinery, leading a major expansion project and the transformation of the business model.

She joined YPF nine years ago. She managed the Human Resource Expertise Center Department between 2017 and 2020. From 2013 to 2017, she was HR Organization, Compensation and Processes Manager, and Head of Talent Management between 2012 and 2013.

She served as HR Executive Manager – Downstream since July 2020. In 2021 she was appointed a member of the Diversity Committee of YPF. She is a member of the board of directors of Metrogas S.A.

She has an extensive HR experience acquired in various industries, including IT, Financial Services, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas.

Dr. Faye Gerard joined IOGP in November 2023 as Energy Transition and Americas Director, seconded from bp, and is based at IOGP’s Houston office. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tuskegee University.

She has worked in the oil and gas industry for 34 years, and at bp for the last 18 years. Her previous roles at bp include Senior Federal Government Affairs Director, Vice President of Low Carbon and Sustainability at bpX Energy (an onshore oil and gas production subsidiary of bp), and other leadership roles in environmental engineering, projects, HSE, regulatory, and safety and operational risk management.

He is a Civil Mechanical Engineer from the University of Concepción. He holds an MBA from Universidad del Desarrollo and a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

He joined ENAP in 2008 as a Maintenance Engineer at the Bío Bío Refinery. In 2013, he was appointed Head of the Maintenance Department and, in 2017, Head of the Operations Department. In 2018, he assumed the role of Refinery Manager, leading a facility that plays a key role in the daily commitment to supply fuels to the country’s central-southern region.

In 2023, he was appointed Transversal Planning Manager for the R&C Business Line, a role in which he played a fundamental part in the implementation of the Operational Transversal Agreements and Coordination Process (PACTO). Since October 2025, he has served as ENAP’s Corporate Refining Manager.

Bob is a recognized industry thought leader on all aspects of the Upstream. He advises Boards, CEO's and management teams on strategic direction. He has been involved in many of the industries pivotal projects - TOR acquisition by Petrobras, a $10 billion arbitration; Oil export approval in the US; and restructuring of several of the industries major operators. He focusses on helping companies understand future trends and how to position themselves in the market. He also provides advice on how to build a better narative for shareholders. Bob has 40 yrs in the industry and has been a senior executive at ConocoPhillips as well as at S&P Global (Now a part of S&P Global).

He sits on four industry Boards and is chair of the supply and demand committee at the Independent Petroluem Association of America (IPAA). He is a frequent industry executive speaker as well as media source for the major outlets. Bob holds a AB in Geology from Hamilton College and lives in Houston.

Leonardo De Lella is a Managing Director & Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and a member of the Energy Practice, based in the Buenos Aires office. He has more than 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry and in strategic consulting, advising leading companies in the region on large-scale transformation processes.

Throughout his career, he has led high-impact initiatives in portfolio management, structural cost optimization, large capital projects (LCPM), supply chain, and digital transformation. He is recognized for his deep knowledge of the E&P sector in Argentina (including the development of Vaca Muerta) and across Latin America, combining strategic vision with a strong focus on execution and sustainable value capture.

In recent years, he has supported energy companies in strategic reviews, portfolio optimization, upstream productivity improvement, and the design of advanced operating models, including the application of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence.

Prior to his current role at BCG, he was part of the executive team at Vista Energy during the company’s early years, where he led key transformation and organizational scaling initiatives related to the development of Vaca Muerta. Previously, he worked at A.T. Kearney as a Principal and core member of the Energy practice and began his career at the Techint Group.

She is a lawyer from Universidad del Rosario, with a specialization in Tax Law from the same university. She has been involved in the mining and energy sector for more than 20 years.

She served as Vice President of Promotion and Area Allocation at the National Hydrocarbons Agency, where she promoted foreign investment in the country, particularly in the development of offshore hydrocarbon exploration and production. She also held the position of Exploration Manager at the same agency.

She worked at Ecopetrol for eight years as a tax advisor across the entire value chain of the business. She participated in the process of determining the share value for the company’s market listing, as well as in its internationalization process.

She was the Executive Director of her own legal consulting firm, with a focus on environmental, social, and business aspects related to the development of mining and energy sector projects.

She is currently the President of Naturgas, the industry association that brings together the 29 leading natural gas producing, transporting, distributing, and marketing companies in Colombia.

Horacio Pizarro is an Industrial Engineer, graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina (UCA), and holds a postgraduate degree in Reservoir Exploitation and Reservoir Engineering from the Institute of Gas and Petroleum of the University of Buenos Aires (IGPUBA).

Since February 2026, he has served as General Director of TGN. Previously, he held various positions within the Techint Group, where he occupied several roles of responsibility, notably as Country Manager of Tecpetrol in Ecuador and as Senior Director of Joint Ventures, Non-Operated Assets & Midstream.

Horacio is married and has two daughters.

Economist with a master’s degree in Public Utilities Regulation from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). He has extensive experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He has held senior positions in the public sector, including Vice Minister of Energy, Vice Minister of Electricity, and Advisor to the Minister’s Office at the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM); Director General of Transport Concessions at the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC); and Director of Investor Services at ProInversión, as well as other roles at OSIPTEL and INDECOPI.

He is currently Manager of the Hydrocarbons Sector at the National Society of Mining, Petroleum and Energy (SNMPE). In addition, he serves as a lecturer in the Department of Economics at PUCP, where he teaches courses on regulatory theory and industrial organization, energy economics and regulation, and advanced microeconomics.

Delfina Arambillet is a journalist and strategist working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and media, with a focus on trust and responsible innovation.

Her work explores how media ecosystems must evolve to protect information environments, safeguard truth, and enable informed participation in an era shaped by AI-driven misinformation and declining institutional trust. Through hands-on consulting and mentoring of media organizations across Latin America and the Global South, she currently works on the design of AI-powered information interfaces that help bridge the growing gap between the information produced by media organizations and the ways people consume and trust information today. She supports newsrooms in rethinking formats, distribution, and user experiences—moving beyond traditional products toward adaptive, audience-centered information systems that strengthen verification, relevance, and credibility, particularly for younger audiences.

She currently works at Globant’s Sustainable Business Studio, where she leads AI and sustainability initiatives for Fortune 500 companies, with a focus on Responsible AI and the societal impact of emerging technologies. She supports global organizations in embedding ethical, trustworthy, and future-proof AI practices into their products and business strategies. Over more than 30 years of experience, he held various technical and managerial roles in E&P operations, including engineering, field development, revitalization of mature fields, and project evaluation in Argentina and several other Latin American countries. In this role, he was responsible for evaluating opportunities and development plans for E&P projects in Venezuela (second and third bidding rounds), Peru (onshore and offshore), Bolivia, Ecuador, Brazil (during the opening of the industry following the end of the state monopoly), and Colombia. Through this work, he developed a strong understanding of the regulatory systems in these countries, the technical particularities of the activity, and an extensive network of industry contacts.

He is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, where he served as Chairman of the Patagonia Section, Chairman of the Argentina Petroleum Section, and Regional Director for South America and the Caribbean. In 2020, he was recognized as a Distinguished Member.

Vinicius joined Rystad Energy in 2022, leading natural gas research for Latin American countries and developing Brazil, Argentina and Bolivia regional products. With 10 years of experience in Brazilian O&G and energy sector, acting as procurement, market intelligence, gas operation, industry relationship, new business development and regulation sector.

Matías joined Trafigura’s Administration and Finance team in 2020. He has been Human Resources Manager since 2024 and is a member of the management committee. He is responsible for overseeing more than 900 employees across commercial offices in Buenos Aires (CABA), the refinery in Bahía Blanca, the terminal in Campana, the lubricants plant in Avellaneda, and the company’s own network of service stations.

Prior to joining Trafigura, he worked at ANSES in the General Operations Directorate (2016–2019). He also held commercial and regional management roles at the Kantar Group (2003–2014), which took him to Italy and the United Kingdom for over two years, working with the board of one of the group’s companies. Earlier in his career, he was a financial analyst at Banco Comafi (1998–2002). Matías holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad de San Andrés (1997).

Mariela Colombo is a Materials Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the energy sector. She began her career in the oil and gas industry, working across upstream and downstream operations as a Corrosion Engineer. In 2022, she was awarded a Fulbright–IAPG scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree in the United States, and she graduated in 2023 with an MSc in Environmental Systems from the University of California, Merced. Since then, Mariela has been working at Calden Consultoría as Energy Transition Leader, where she leads technical, economic, and regulatory assessments of energy transition–related solutions. She is also a Future Energy Leader at the World Energy Council, representing Argentina and contributing to global discussions on the future of energy.
