Participación de Arpel en reunión de WEC sobre escenarios energéticos y en Congreso LATAM Renovables realizado en Montevideo

Arpel participó del III Congreso WEC Uruguay y IX Congreso LATAM Renovables, éste último organizado por la Asociación Uruguaya de Energías Renovables (AUDER), llevados a cabo el 26 y 27 de julio en Montevideo.

En ese marco, Irene Alfaro, Directora Gerente de Arpel, fue invitada a asistir a una reunión de análisis de escenarios energéticos regionales organizada por el Consejo Mundial de la Energía (WEC, en sus siglas en inglés), en colaboración con el Comité Miembro de Uruguay.

Esta reunión convocó a las principales partes interesadas en la energía en América Latina y el Caribe, facilitando una plataforma de conversación estratégica relevante para la región, cuyos resultados permitirán una perspectiva regional matizada a los Escenarios Energéticos Globales del Consejo.

Asimismo, Alfaro fue parte del IX LATAM Renovables, donde estuvo a cargo de la moderación de la sesión titulada “Transiciones energéticas en empresas de petróleo y gas”, la que contó con la disertación de Daniel Chiaffone, VP de abastecimiento y comercialización integrados en PAE; Santiago Ferro, Gerente de Transiciones Energéticas en Ancap, y Xavier Ramírez Véliz, Director de Desarrollo de Negocios de Transición Energética en Tecpetrol, las tres empresas socias de Arpel.

Durante el desarrollo del Congreso, y en particular durante la Mesa de Oil & Gas, quedó en evidencia la importancia y la necesidad de involucrar a todos los actores del sector energético para afrontar el desafío de las transiciones energéticas, con foco en las personas, considerando los recursos locales y el derecho al desarrollo sostenible de cada región en particular, señaló Alfaro.
