ENAP hosted the second Best Practices Exchange Workshop on Facilities Integrity Management, held from October 8 to 10 in Concepción, Chile. The event included a visit to the Bío Bío Refinery.
The in-person event was organized by Arpel’s Pipelines and Terminals Committee, coordinated by Fabián Sánchez, and aimed to promote the exchange of experiences in facilities integrity management, as well as to strengthen networking among member companies and their technical teams.
More than 100 professionals from Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile took part in the workshop.
Key takeaways highlighted by participants included the evolution of integrity management, the importance of the human factor, applicable regulations and standards, and the value of teamwork within project teams and the Committee.
