In mid-July, a virtual training session on "Integrating Sustainability in the Oil and Gas Industry" was held, specially designed for ANCAP.
The growing decision-making power of new generations of investors, with a focus on social equality and environmental protection; audits on the quality and transparency of sustainability reports; and governance as a foundation for ensuring transparency, fulfillment of commitments, and long-term operational sustainability were some of the key points analyzed during the meeting with the member company’s executives.
One highlighted aspect was building trust, a key aspect today, in line with the growing expectations of the local and international markets.
The training was led by Mónica Ospina, Sustainability Advisor, and Pablo Ferragut, Managing Director of Arpel.
These meetings are part of the work plan of Arpel's Sustainable Management Committee, which aims to share knowledge and best practices in social, environmental, and governance management, contributing to the development of a sustainability approach more aligned with the new and higher expectations of stakeholders.
