Arpel Annual Report 2025

Throughout 2025, Arpel reaffirmed its role as a leading platform for technical cooperation and knowledge exchange within the energy industry of Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as for dialogue with key stakeholders at both regional and global levels.

Two milestones particularly defined the year: the celebration of Arpel’s 60th anniversary and the organization of Innovarpel 2025, an event that placed digitalization and cybersecurity at the center of the industry’s agenda.

Among other notable institutional achievements, we highlight:

• The incorporation of OceanPact and Rystad Energy as new members.

• The signing of Memorandum of Understanding with SPE, IOGP, CBHE, and OPITO.

• The active participation of Arpel professionals in conferences across the region and in global events, bringing the region’s perspective and voice to forums such as IOGP, OTC, and OPEC.

• Engagement in the global climate agenda through the organization of a side event at COP30 (Belém, Brazil).

• Two roundtables were held in collaboration with IOGP, OLADE, IGU, and hosted by IAPG within the framework of AOG 2025, combining global and regional perspectives.

• Interviews and articles published in specialized industry media outlets.

Towards the last quarter of the year, we began preparations for our biennial 8th Arpel Conference, to be held in Buenos Aires from June 1 to 4, 2026.

The document compiles the activities carried out in 2025 under the four Strategic Vectors: Energy Transitions, Operational Excellence, Sustainable Management and Relationship with Stakeholders.
