EVALUATING THE IMPACTS AND RETURN OF SOCIAL INVESTMENTS
The social investment series of workshops is an initiative of Arpel’s Sustainable Management Committee, which aims to exchange best practices and experiences in planning, designing, prioritizing, and assessing social investments.
The workshops will discuss strategies, methodologies, and indicators for measuring, monitoring, and maximizing the social impact and returns from companies' social investments.
This series of workshops began in 2025 with presentations by ANCAP, Ecopetrol, and TGP, and continues in February and March of 2026 with four workshops facilitated by Petrobras, GeoPark, Petroperu, and the independent expert and academician Natalia Aquilino.
The workshops will provide the contents for the elaboration of a Recommended Practice on this topic, which is expected to be published by mid 2026.
