Introduction
Tecpetrol, a company of the Techint Group specializing in the exploration and production of hydrocarbons, has formally integrated the vision of Quality into the highest levels of management. The company is currently developing a corporate Quality model aligned with its strategic business objectives, while simultaneously driving specific initiatives across various assets, tailored to local and organizational requirements.
In this presentation, the case of the Pesquería Power Plant, located in Monterrey, Mexico, will be shared. The plant implemented a management system certified under ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards as part of its evolution toward an Operational Excellence model. The presentation will highlight the lessons learned, the benefits achieved, and the ongoing challenges faced along this journey.
